I was going to say that it's all about the floppy hat, baby. Then I saw the peacocks. :-) Last summer I read a LOT of Flannery O'Connor (Savannah's literary soul). The woman was a phenomenal short story writer, but she was also a truly great mind. Her lectures on writing, particularly writing from a southern, religious perspective, are dazzling (Mystery & Manners). Lots of peacocks, lots of swaying moss in the lazy trees, lots of sweet tea. That's what these pictures make me think of.
AHH! I will have to read some! I'm glad you got a feeling from these pictures. The South is a very interesting/unique place. I really enjoyed seeing more of it! :)
