A lot of the inspiration for my wedding came from blogs (specifically this one) so I thought it might be nice to put up pictures and info about my wedding -- just in case anyone was interested. I planned my wedding in about 5 months with the major help of my sister, Julia -- she was the one who came up with the brilliant color scheme for the wedding. Our budget was small but I think the event came out wonderfully, it helps that my in-laws have a fabulous piece of vineyard property. Overall it was perfect for us. I actually preferred working with a smaller budget and it was pretty easy to find ways to cheat the wedding industry system. I had a fabulous time planning the wedding and I'm pretty proud of it (that is not to say that there were not stressful times, there were!)
Well that's the wedding. As you can see I LOVE Etsy and I used so many Etsy products in my wedding. I love looking at weddings and if you have knowledge of any wedding blogs you think I might like send them my way!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean, I love wedding stuff (and now Etsy) too! I wish I could plan weddings all day, they're so much fun because you have so many options. None are the same :) I always run across this blog: http://greenweddingshoes.com/ I don't know how but a lot of people know about it.
ReplyDeleteHa! OMG! I should have clicked the link before I posted my comment. I feel retarded now...see...you know about the blog too! I only found out about it 2 months ago. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteBran, I don't remember Dan's face but I for one pretended to drink and didn't actually put any in my mouth "That's why we lutherans use grape Koolaid for the blood of Christ"
ReplyDeleteAnonymous (name?), weddings are very fun to plan. I would not mind planning someone else's wedding but I'm happy mine is done :)
My name is Hope, I don't like to have my name click-able so people can see my profile...I'm strange like that....
ReplyDeleteNo prob, I'm glad I know it. Nice to meet you :)
ReplyDeleteSo I was on Etsy and I was reading about the featured seller and she recommended this wedding blog: http://offbeatbride.com/
ReplyDeleteI was looking at it and it is amusing instead of inspiring....
Love your dress! Who is it by?
ReplyDeleteThank You! It was by Cara Mia -- the specific dress is called Suzanne. I loved it. It is exactly opposite of everything I thought I wanted but it felt and looked too good to be true :)
